Today we left Rome to go to Venice. On the way we stopped in Verona to see Juliet's balcony where she was said to have been wooed by Romeo. The story of Romeo and Juliet is a fictional story but people were coming to Verona asking about where it was, so they chose one to be it and now it is a big tourist attraction. We also saw a Roman amphitheater that is older than the one in Rome but smaller. It was the third largest amphitheater in the Roman Empire. Then we had some free time to explore. After Verona we continued on to Venice.

That's hilarious that Juliet's balacony is just a made up thing. It looks so busy too! Looks beautiful!
